How to Pack Skincare in a Carry-On: An Ankh Beauty Size Guide

Your ritual can travel with you without bringing the whole shelf. Start with the skincare products you already use, compare their container sizes, and decide what deserves space in your liquids bag. For Black women building a considered Ankh Beauty ritual, this guide connects the packing rules with real products in our collection.
Check the carry-on liquids rule for airport security first
The Transportation Security Administration's ordinary US checkpoint rule covers liquids, gels, creams and pastes: containers must be 100 ml (3.4 oz) or smaller and fit together in one quart-sized clear bag per passenger. A cream or gel moisturizer still counts; a separate makeup bag does not create another liquids allowance. Check the current TSA liquids guidance before packing. The FAA's toiletry guidance also notes the 100 ml checkpoint limit.
Container capacity matters, rather than how much product remains. A partly used 150 ml bottle is still larger than the ordinary limit. Rules and screening decisions can vary by route; check your departure and connecting airports and airline before your trip.
Compare actual Ankh Beauty sizes
These are the listed sizes of our regular products, not a separate collection of travel minis. Check your current packaging before you pack. Meeting the size limit does not guarantee screening acceptance or that every bottle will fit together in your bag.
Vitamin C Serum — 30 ml
If this serum is already part of your skincare routine, its 30 ml container is below the ordinary 100 ml limit. Keep the choice personal: a small bottle earns its place when it serves your existing ritual, rather than simply adding another step. Review Vitamin C Serum's formula, directions and size.
Niacinamide Gel Moisturiser — 50 ml
This 50 ml gel moisturizer is another size to compare when planning your facial-care essentials. Decide whether you want this texture or one of your usual creams; you do not need to pack every moisturizer. Explore Niacinamide Gel Moisturiser or compare gel moisturizer and cream formats.
A haircare option: Keratin Shine Leave-In Hair Mist — 100 ml
The listed 100 ml hair mist sits at the ordinary container-size limit. It shares bag space with your other liquids. It is a leave-in hair product, rather than a face mist or a substitute for shampoo. Check the hair mist's directions and ingredients before choosing it.
Plan separately for larger cleansers
Blemish Purifying Face Wash is 140 ml, and Sensitive Skin Oil-To-Milk Cleanser is 150 ml. Both original containers exceed the ordinary carry-on limit. Plan checked baggage for those original sizes, subject to the applicable baggage rules, rather than assuming a nearly empty bottle qualifies.
Choose your cleansing format before deciding how to transport it. Our water-based versus oil-based cleanser guide compares the two products and an optional double cleanse. Neither cleanser is offered here as a travel-size version.
Make your final packing check
Read each container's size and keep the product directions available.
Test the fit of your liquids together, including other toiletries you need.
Close caps securely and follow each product's storage instructions.
Pack the familiar steps you intend to use, rather than adding every optional product.
Recheck the current airport and airline guidance before departure.
